Blue Long Ring
Sofio Gongli
One-of-a kind long bright blue ring with golden pearl dots on it. It is produced in the Byzantine Cloisonné enamel technique: an ancient decorative process dating back to the 12th century, which can only be carried out by hand, and consists of inlaying radiant coloured treatments between strips of fine metal. Georgian jewellery designer Sofio Gongliashvili handcrafts her unique gold- or silver-plated piece in her atelier in Tbilisi.
