Black broach pendant done in the cloisonné enamelling technique in several parts: one abstract tree-like figure with two birds perched on each side and one tear drop shape all encased with fine gold metal.

One-of-a kind large black brooch with two small birds on top. It is produced in the Byzantine Cloisonné enamel technique: an ancient decorative process dating back to the 12th century, which can only be carried out by hand, and consists of inlaying radiant colored treatments between strips of fine metal. Georgian jewelry designer Sofio Gongliashvili handcrafts her unique gold- or silver-plated pieces in her atelier in Tbilisi.
