The city, The Island by Alice Pedroletti tackles the themes of islands, boats, archives, cartography, architecture, writing and the city of Berlin, specifically Moabit Insel. This publication is the result of an archipelago of people connecting and recreating a form of interactivity, a collection of contents and hints, from graphic design to sculpture, from editorial projects to the database and platform www.archives.berlin hosting all the images and texts the research is made of. This Zine project is published in a limited edition of 300 pieces, divided into multiple parts and written in English, Italian, and German - the three languages used during the research.
