Thrown into the Sea is a reflection on artist Lawrence Wieners text and performance One Standard Air Force Dye Marker Thrown Into the Sea (1968). Consisting of 23 prints of close-ups of the Risograph print raster and a letter by Wiener, the book is like a mixture between looking at a colourful night sky and standing close to a pixelated Pollock: it jumps at you and draws you into its abstract landscapes.
